Unique Opportunity - Are you interested?

The South Jersey Camera Club has a unique volunteer opportunity. Every year the Sunrise Rotary Club of Medford publishes a calendar with a theme as a fundraiser. This year’s theme is “A Taste of Medford” and will feature photographs of food from the restaurants voted to be the best in the area. The Rotary Club has asked our club to provide photographers to photograph the food from these restaurants.

If you are interested in doing this, please email Rich Lewis at info@sjcameraclub.org. and we will get you more details. By the way, what happens to the food after you photograph it is up to you. Remember, these are restaurants were voted the Best of Medford. Please respond using the email link above by Friday September 13th.


Welcome to the 2024-25 SJCC Season!

If you are like me, you must be asking “where did summer go”. Vacations, quality time with family & friends, home projects and hopefully  some photography.
The board has also been busy teeing up a robust & exciting line up of workshops, presentations, field trips and a few surprises. Oh, we also launched a completely new system that now encompasses the club's website, membership, challenges, calendar & all events. Hopefully, you were able to attend one of the Zoom training sessions or watched the recording.

One of the critical goals of the new system & website is having everything the club members need in one location with one login to provide a better experience while being user friendly. Delivering accurate & timely information has always been important and this will support the club moving forward. The old saying of "rawling before you  walk", is very true for all of us when learning a new system and we will walk together this season.
Moving forward, you will notice an overall theme of “go to the website to learn more, register or how-to” with numerous links.  You can now manage/view all aspects of your membership by selecting "My Account" from the website menu when logged in.

Who We Are

Founded in 1976, the South Jersey Camera Club (SJCC) was organized to promote the art and science of photography. Among its goals is the desire to unite others in sharing similar interests, to exchange ideas and photographic expertise, and to enhance the skills of club members. Our members come from all across the tri-state area, especially southern New Jersey & Philadelphia.

Dedicated To Better Photography

Outstanding speakers present interesting and informative programs. Field trips and workshops provide practical photographic experience. Themed and open challenges and bonus contests throughout the season encourage members to explore new techniques and subjects.

Multiple events/meetings are held throughout each month during our club season of September through June. Our in person Challenge meetings are held at the Medford Leas Community Center Auditorium, One Medford Leas Way, Medford, NJ 08055.

Programs are planned to interest photographers from beginners to skilled artisans. Guests and prospective members are always welcome. 

The South Jersey Camera Club is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, not for profit organization. Donations or endowments are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
